Top Cut seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our lawn and landscape business as a Team Leader. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily operations, managing a team of landscape technicians, and ensuring the successful completion of projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the outdoors, and a solid understanding of lawn and landscape maintenance.

  • Lead a team of landscape technicians in performing various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks, such as mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, and planting.
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to team members, ensuring proper utilization of skills and resources.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and ensure consistent quality of work.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their requirements and address any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement efficient work schedules and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficient use of equipment.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in horticulture or landscaping are a plus.
  • Proven experience in lawn and landscape maintenance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of lawn care practices, plant identification, irrigation systems, and pest control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proficient in using landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physically perform tasks related to lawn and landscape maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
